So I am now on course 1 - lesson 2 of affiliate boot - two weeks into the program. Obviously, I now have a site up and running and am tied to a google+ profile / community. I have an amazon affiliate program in place with links on my pages and have worked to optimize key words / phrases for "low hanging fruit" and such. I have also started helping others and writing blogs.
Could someone (maybe in week 8 - 12...) provide some advice for accelerating my understanding - what steps did you take? what have you learned that could help others who are at the same spot as I am (many are).
This information would serve as training tips / tricks for my recruits as well (once I get some - lol)
Appreciate any assistance in advance.
Bill

I've been at this for 6+ years. Hopefully I can give more insightful advice than someone 8 - 12 weeks in.
Keep in mind that's basic training on getting started & setting up your 1st website. My advice is to only buy 1 domain containing your name (or nickname) similarly as http://potpiegirl.com, http://ivetriedthat.com, http://magistudios.com, http://mattcutts.com, & http://sethgodin.com
After that, setup 4 categories on it for:
1. Personal
2. Partnerships
3. My Services (edit this later if you want)
4. Other
Showcase your WA profile under "Partnerships" on your website (however you wish to do so), & affiliate for them like that. Then simply blog about WA within your partnerships category.
Then here's the trick: At least for a while, setup niche sites on SiteRubix. You can either work on 1 SiteRubix site a lot, or take another (expert level only) approach & setup websites with around 10 - 20 pages / posts over profitable niche keywords with very little competition & good traffic.
Use Google Instant, the WA keyword tool, & Jaaxy for keyword statistics. You can find lots of good training in the classroom on finding good keywords.
Good grief - that's amazing advice
In fact - blew my mind a bit.. Still digesting.........
Would you mind if we stayed in contact?
