Not a question but a discovery and it's an old one. For those of you who are new to WA. Never really knew what subdomain was but now that I kind of understand it. My niche c

A subdomain is like a minisite off your primary site, it won't benefit you much as most of the SEO goodness is passed off to the root domain. Very seldom will a search result show a subdomain instead of the root of a website. You use a sub domain to add a feature to the main site like Google does with advertising.google.com.

remember here one subdomain takes up one hosting slot....
i would have broad main menus with sub menus under them...
even adding a shop or training section if needed...
each subdomain is treated separately by google and has to rank on its own merit....

What is domain vs. subdomain ?

Ok, so my clickbank account was disabled. Is this normal? I'm I going to have a hard time getting in. Already two of the links are tied into clickbank. Any recommendations?

You can contact ClickBank by emailing payments@clickbankdotcom if you have any questions about your account's status.

Hi Gayle,

Wow, I've not experienced this issue but here's what I would do... well, what I did... I did an internet search for your question... see screen print below...

And... the second post is ClickBank's own support forum for this issue: https://support.clickbank.com/hc/en-us/articles/25459445665428-Why-is-my-account-disabled

Be sure to read through their ClickBank Client Contract to see if you have accidentally violated your contract with them... and if you cannot determine anything...

You could try reaching out to them Twitter (now X) by simply tweeting them using @ClickBank and ask for help that way.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you..this happened a few years ago and I just gave up trying and did not look to see why they did that. Hope they can reconsider.

I originally wanted to do something I am knowledgeable but I would like to start with something I am more passionate about. I'm going for Pet Blogging so I have a wider range

Hey Gayle,

When I started here, I create about 5 different websites (on the SiteRubix server, back then), one at a time, of course.

Each were of a different niche... and I continued developing the site(s) one at a time, until I realized that I was out of my realm of knowledge rather quickly.

Even then, I paid for 2 different domain names in niches I was knowledgeable in... but as time went on, I soon realize that these sites SHOULD have been categories within ONE website... and NOT two separate sites.

So.... I got to transferring ALL of my posts from those two sites into a BRAND new domain name that I registered.

BOY, did I get to learn A LOT about moving posts around... so, that was a useful experience.

Don't be afraid to scrap what you don't want by changing to a niche you would sooner focus on.

There's no 'set in cement' rule about sticking with a site you started with forever.

You are your own boss.

Just be sure that the niche you're about to enter is NOT flooded already... and... if it IS flooded... see if you can come a that niche with a new angle that will gain you an advantage.

You CAN do this!

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks Triblu..its good to know you can make choice. And I will check with the NOT flooded topics.

Yeah you'll have to create a newer hub You can add an existing website to a newly created hub

Currently working on my Business Hub. I'm having a hard time picking my Niche because of my business brand, Solutions by Gayle, which is very broad. Would it be wrong for me

Thanks everyone for your input. I figured out what my niche will be.

You're welcome, Gayle!

Hey Gayle,

The following video may offer you help with this: as Roope offers great advice and is very successful himself.

Hope you find this helpful.

What type of solutions do you provide? Think from here and to what kind of audience. Who would be interested in what you have to offer?

Punch in areas of your passion in the opportunity rating.

https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/

This is also available within your hubs
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/hubs

You want to start focused, giving your website a chance to gain traction and traffic before you're able to scale.

What's important here is that your niche fits you. You'll be the center of your target audience; you'll understand their issues and can adequately advise them because you also have to find the answers.

I hope this makes sense.

Narrow it down to start with. by writing in clusters ie 20 articles on one category you get ranked faster as Google can work out what your blog is about
