My progress so far, January 2018
It's pretty amazing just how much has happened in the last month compared to my struggles online before I joined Wealthy Affiliate. Before all of this I was looking around on how to start an online business and found a few different websites that offered help. I was a member of a couple of these sites for a few weeks before dropping out. None of them seemed right to me. I decided that I wouldn't give up because of this and decided to keep going. This is when I found Wealthy Affiliate. Just within a few days I had chosen a niche and had a website up and running.
As I'm now progressing through my training I learn more and more on how Google decides rankings. I also have learned a lot about social engagement on social media. This is a big one for me as I'm naturally introverted and it is a bit of a struggle to keep social engagement going. But as with everything you practice you will become good at it eventually!
I'm also so grateful for all the support I get here at WA. It's easily one of the best things of being on here. I get people I don't know (yet) that are reaching out and offering all kinds of help. Sometimes without me even asking which is a rare thing to find!
The coming months will be very interesting. I have only had my website up and running for a month now and I'm already seeing increased traffic. It's not much, but it is exciting to see it go up. In 3 months time I hope to have made my first sale! In 6 months time my goals is to see some form of income on a regular basis.
I'm going to keep working hard everyday and until I have reached my goal. This is just the start and I'm excited about what is to come!
