Imagine that I have an interactive html+CSS+JS web-app that I created on Amazon Cloud9 and it is deployed by Heroku. I also have a WordPress website hosted on WA (mydreamjobonl
When you add a subdomain to your own dot com you have the choice of installing WordPress or not. Subdomain on Your Own Dot Com Website You can use FTP to upload files to your subdomain. Backup Your Website With FTP All the rest is above my pay-grade :)
Not sure.
Step 1 would be to create the subdomain in WA. Call it my "mytest". Create it in the usual manner. Not being fussy with any of the details that WA site builder asks for.
Step 2: I assume that the site deployed by Heroku, is something like gfhdfsgfdhf.heroku.com
Step 3: Using ftp or FileZilla, retrieve the .htaccess file on the mytest.mydreamjobonline.com domain.
And add a site redirect on it to redirect all traffic to gfhdfsgfdhf.heroku.com
You need to do some research on this, however I think that it may be something like:
Redirect / http://gfhdfsgfdhf.heroku.com/
Note that it is "Redirect[a space]/[a space]http........
Make sure you save the .htaccess file and upload it.
However it is going to be slower than accessing your gfhdfsgfdhf.heroku.com as you have added an additional place for the information to flow to and from......
Possible to add a cutom site to wa registered subdomain?

I've just bought a pro WordPress theme with 1 year support included. The support asked me to send them my wp-admin name and password to make them possible to install and edit t
It's not common practice that the theme editor has a permanent user on your site.
You should be able to install the theme yourself and do all edits.
You can also create a new user, give them those details to install the theme, then remove the user when they are done. Or keep the user and change the password for if you ever need their help in the future, and you'd just give them the updated password at that time.

Hi everyone! I need your help. I would like to start a new website, but I don't know which name to choose.
Its general theme is gonna be "making money online from home" and
the first one is a bit odd. The last 2 make more sense.
