Go use a page builder !
So recently i discovered a thing called page builder. This took my site to the next level. Here at WA they never mention a page builder. I think the reason therefor is because the posts are a little bit out dated.
Okay so what does a page builder do? Well it makes your pages and posts look nice. it takes your boring post with text and images to the next level. For example look at my site,

I mean look at the difference. With page builder it looks so much better. And it took me less time. So why shouldn't you use a page builder.
I personally use Elementor. Just search in the plugin section of wordpress for page builder and you will find a lot of them.

Myself I'm having tons of problems with image sizes and how they show on my site
With a page builder you can drag a picture to wherever you want and then you can select 5 sizes thumbnail medium mediumlarge large full. So you should instal a page builder plugin. You actually see the site with a page builder not the wordpress editing section. This shoudl help you with the placement and size.
