In this video I want to give you a breakdown of RPM and what it means. In essence it's just another way of saying how much you get paid for every 1,000 visitors (or views if it's video content) you get paid.
There's many advertisers out there that connect with big name companies that then put up the ads for these advertisers across websites, YouTube channels and so forth and pay the conten maker (you in this case) money for every 1,000 views or visits (known as RPM). The whole process is connected to a way of making money through display ads on your content.
When it comes to RPM, numbers vary on many different factors but ultimately our goal is to get RPM rates UP as much as possible to increase the amount we make overall.
