Hey everyone, so firstly huge thanks to Jay (Magistudios) for showing me this. Basically Pinterest has keyword ID's for pins they call annotated interests and if you can use them in your own pin descriptions, you can potentially get more reach/results with them. Here's how to find them for free.

Update: Here's the Google search to do:

site:pinterest.com/ideas keyword

Hi Vitaliy,

Ok, I have tried and tried to get this right but for some reason, when I put pinterest.com/ideas and then "moose habitats" for the Annotated keywords, it takes me right to the Pinterest site. Sometimes it will stay on the Google site but it usually takes me right to Pinterest.

And, I do not see the Annotated keywords listed below the listings as you do. What do you think is happening or am I doing something wrong?

A lot of my pins are for my own private site, Clearwater Cabin Lighting, so I can create my own keywords for this as no one else has that name or context expect me. But for my Cabin Living Today site, which is similar to one of your sites, I am having trouble. What do you think?

Thank you,
Mike Powers

Great stuff as always buddy! Enjoy the rest of your week! :-)

Thanks Vitaliy

Here is the search that Vitaliy mentions to do:

site:pinterest.com/ideas "your keyword"

BTW, this can be done either logged in or logged out of Pinterest.

Thank you for this information, Vitaliy,

I have a question about my posts. When I am putting in the keywords for my posts, it appears that you can only use the keywords that Pinterest wants you to use.

For example, if I put in "Rustic Cabin Decor", the keyword Pinterest wants me to use is "cabin". My question is this: If I put in my own keywords and they do not populate with Pinterest, will they still work or do I need to use only what Pinterest wants us to use?

Thank you,
Mike Powers

So those are called tagged interests. You don't need to worry about that, just select 1-2 that are most relevant. You'll enter your keywords in the title and description of the pin.

Ok...thank you for your quick reply and your help.

Mike
