Can you participate in WA if you already have a website?
As a starter you can have a free siterubix subdomain.
However as a premium, you can participate yes, point your site to WA servers or transfer your domain and host it within WA.
To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.
ns1 . mywahosting . com
ns2 . mywahosting . com
These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place.
If you want to transfer your domain to WA, you need the EPP authorization code.
However if your site has content, then you need to connect with site support once you upgrade for further instructions about moving your site onto WA servers.
It is also wise to back up your domain. You can use AIO WP Migration or Updraft. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly however none of that registers with me. I just started a week ago and I come from a manufacturing background so this all new to me. I can tell you I never purchased anything for it. It was all given to me and set up by them just for becoming an affiliate for them. I have no back office control like I have here at WA. They just give you a generic website and tell you to promote it. I know I need seo to get rankings. A week here in WA has taught me that it is a lot more than just seo to getting ranked so I am not sure if they worth sticking with or just finding a new affiliation. I have 3 of them btw
Hi, it sounds like an MLM direct selling duplicate site however under your affiliation.
I also noticed you were sharing them sites in Live Chat, which is by the way is against WA rules. I would refrain from doing so in the future.
No, that's not it at all, I create websites and wanted to know if I could use a website created independent of WA, that's all.
You website is your business. WA has nothing to do how you manage your business.

WA is a learning platform to teach people how to start their online journey building their blogs and set up their businesses the correct way.

Of course, you can Wealthy Affiliate will show you the right way to build a solid foundation for your website even if your already have one.
Just follow the training complete each task asked of at the end of each lesson and ask questions there should there be a need to.
Also, continue to write content based on your selected niche with your website.
Even though you have your own website you can use the free SiteRubix as a testing website.
Going premium will enhance the knowledge 10 fold to the starter option plus you can move your website to Wealthy Affiliate and get free hosting as part of your Premium membership.
But that is your choice
