On the advise a youtube'r I installed WordFence free version.
Today I get a report from 12th to 19th Dec which tells me many "attacks" were prevented !!

My domain is

I am happy to use the premium Succurri - I have not done WordFence except the scanner is server-side and can pick up malware.

You have awesome responses, here. Kindly let us know if you need further assistance.

I use wordfence pro on my main website. It is a very reliable plugin both free and pro.

You will get these reports because blogs are one of the most attacked sites online. Hell, I get reports every day from some putz that tried to access my site.

You'll be fine if you have a very strong password and have changed your site's login from "admin"

My site password is 32 characters long and of course my login is not "admin"

I will create strong password and change login from "admin" to something else > Thanks a ton

I am new and just wondering if Holidays is really a good time to run paid ad's > I personally think that the paid ad's should be before the Holidays and may be 2 weeks after

Great advice and feedback from Kyle, I have all benefited from your question here, thank you.

It really depends on your audience. If you are selling items that people are trying to get shipped before Christmas, than the closer you get to Christmas the less likely someone is to purchase.

Also, a consideration is that people are busy around the holiday season with functions, activities, watching sports...and there will tend to be less traffic volume.

We have seen over the years that traffic and revenue tends to pick up drastically as you move into the new year, but now is a good time to get prepped for this and get your campaigns in place. ;)

As per the guidance of the product owner company, I have subscribed to paid plans of ClickFunnels + GetResponse + ClickMagick.

GetResponse - I understand, that I DO NEED

You do not need them, these are over priced and unneeded pieces of software. Anything that can be done within that click software, can be done for free with Analytics.

And there is much lower cost, and more establish autoresponder and lead software, when you are ready...but you first want traffic and an audience before you worry about that...and perhaps you never need that.

So save your money, and resources and as Partha said a domain, hosting, and research tools...along with education and support are the only things that you need and these are included here within WA.

Thanks for your response.
I have a product
I am developing (by self) a profile for target audience to be used for ad's
I have optin list of about 90 and sending out regular emails using GetResponse > which I am going to change to Adweber as advised.
AND
Also get rid of ClickFunnels and ClickMagick.

THANKS A LOT to you and absolutely wonderful community here on WA !

Advice if you're "New", as you've mentioned.

Anyone who tells you that you DO need something (apart from a domain name & hosting) is simply after your money and a sale... and I mean ANYONE.

I can honestly say that in 14 years of the business I have NEVER used ANY of those products EVER.

You'll often hear, "the money is in the list" or "you must do email marketing", and although I somewhat agree, I have still produced 6-fgure annual earning websites WITHOUT collecting email addrsses.

I'm sure many people will tell me that I'm losing out, and that those websites would be 7-figure earners if I "built a list", etc.

But, guess what?

You can completely change your life with JUST a domain name and hosting, great keyword research, and writing articles.

There's 2 ways you can go about this business when you're new.

1) Learn the absolute basics and then repeat them over-and-over-and-over again.

OR

2) Complicate everything, spend loads of money, and still be none the wiser.

Believe it or not, the vast majority of newcomers choose the SECOND option.

Easy business plan.

Choose an "evergreen" niche (something that won't go out of fashion)

Learn everything possible about that niche, don't rely on previous knowlege, experience, or guesswork, actually make the effort to learn.

Learn everything about keyword research, not just here at WA, there's a massive world out there with lots of education and knowledge, USE IT ALL.

Write... Then write some more... Then write even more... Guess what, keep writing.

If you really WANT to spend money when starting out, ONLY ONCE you've spent some time learning these new skills, pay someone else to do this work for you.

Whoever had told you that you DEFINITELY DO need GetResponse is currently just waiting for their $100 commission, they ARE NOT trying to help you.

Partha

Somewhat agree with this.

ClickFunnels/ClickMagick, definitely not.

An email autoresponder, if you can afford it, is a tool that I would personally recommend... But if you're on a shoestring budget, you can go without it & still earn money, then look into it once you're earning.

Thank you for what should've been MY conclusion, LOL!!

I was trying to figure how to say what you said when I said "I somewhat agree with email autoresponders", but then I was worried about getting into the realms of organic traffic/paid traffic, "just starting out", etc.

But, YES - I 100% agree with THIS!!

Thanking You!

It came up on the dashboard that you needed help with your answer 😛

And yeah mate, agreed. AWeber (as TheAbie mentioned below) is a free anyway up to 500 subscribers so that's a better alternative.

You do not no.

You can use Aweber which is free for the first 500 subscribers and affiliate marketing friendly.

Good recommendation - AWeber is my preferred choice as well :)

WA Affiliate Program

I have a small email list to which I am promoting one Affiliate product with a specific website and related email ID - Now if I want to Promote WA to the same list > What I

It depends what niche your website is in. If it's not MMO, then yes, I'd build another website (on a real domain, not a Site Rubix sub-domain) in the MMO niche and create an email address based on that domain. It's a minimum cost and much more professional.

I'm assuming you're using an autoresponder. Just use your WA email from one of your sites.

Thanks for your inputs.

I have yet to claim my included website with WA
and
I have yet to transfer my other websites to WA

With the websites, which I host on WA - how many email can I make, though I will need only 2-3 probably, but just want to know ?

You can use Aweber auto responders which is free for the first 500 subscribers.

Or I guess - I setup a free blog > but in that case which email ID do I use. I definitely want to look professional and am not comfortable using ..... .gmail / yahoo etc

Is WA a substitute for Cloudflare?
Is WA a substitute for ClickFunnels?
Is WA a substitute for ClickMagick?
Is WA a substitute for GetResponse?

We are going to teach you how to properly build a business, and provide you with everything you need to accomplish this.

Those services are NOT required to do this, the only one that you might need down the road is an autoresponder like GetResponse or Aweber.com if you decide to get into affiliate marketing.

I have spent some time breaking down the process in the most simplistic way possible. Success online is at the core a 4 step process and I have broken them down within this class: Broken, down, the process looks like this:

Step 1: Choose your niche
Step 2: Build your website/content
Step 3: Get rankings in search engines (leads to traffic)
Step 4: Monetize your traffic (the make money part, through affiliate programs, etc!)

This applies in absolutely every niche and as you work through the training here at WA, you are going to be walked through this exact process. This is fundamental for ANY success online.

If you have any further questions let me know Vineet. :)

I really appreciate your personal and very quick response Kyle - can't think of anything better than this.

15+ years - I tried half heartedly and learnt to spot frauds. As of Dec-22, I am now going into Affiliate Marketing full throttle and have setup a new website https://OwnBusinessIncome.com

Currently I have membership of ClickFunnels+GetResponse+CloudFlare+LinkTrackr for the above website.

I find LinkTrackr to be too complicated.

If I transfer my assets to WA, I will not need CloudFlare for sure since WA provides SSL.

The company who's affiliate I am promoting has provided shared funnel page on ClickFunnels >> I am not sure, if and how to transfer my funnel page from ClickFunnels to Aweber or what ?

You can also go to the subscriptions page to check your plan

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

None of the above.

No, they are all addressing specific needs. There is no overlap.

WA's primary purpose is to teach you HOW to build a profitable affiliate business. The others are tools for specific aspects.

WA also hosts your website(s). That's a bonus.

thanks for the clarification

Hi @phil1944 The company who's affiliate I am promoting has provided shared funnel page on ClickFunnels >>
Is there a method to transfer this funnel page from ClickFunnels to Aweber ?

You are most welcome, Vineet.

Sorry, Vineet, but I don't use either ClickFunnels (I build my own sales funnels) or AWeber (I use ActiveCampaign) so can't help. Hopefully, someone else will be able to.

Is ActiveCampaign paid ?

Yes. I use it because of its more advanced features, such as conditional logic, not required by most people.
