Dealing with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD, ADD
Hello WA friends!
Well, I decided that my first post will be about something I've been struggling with since childhood.
Attention deficit is one of those diseases that looks like it's over diagnosed, but at the same time is under diagnosed.
At school the subjects were mixed up with my daydreams. But I did ok.
It was starting adolescence this disease began to put me in a loop in which I live today.
I have many ideas, many interests, but the inability to focus on them to come true makes me sure I always have to go back to square one. What ended up creating frustration and depression over time.
Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with this and my battle is now to be able to heal myself for my current projects do not have the same end ... or lack of end that past projects have had.
I just wanted to put out there the things I've been dealing for a while.
Success to all!

Admire your courage to share your personal struggles. Keep up the great work you have been doing!
I personally think that there should be more recognition for issues such as ADHD and similar conditions as well. If parents and teachers started to look at kids in a more pronounced light instead of just dismissing them as being "A Pain In The Arse" a lot of the time, the world could well be full of much happier adults in the future.
It Takes Courage To Admit That You Have A Problem Like This, Which A Lot Of People Shy Away From Coming To Terms With - Thanks For Sharing.
Exactly, it is very common for people to have children and then shove an Ipad to keep them out of their way. Hardly this depth look happens. I hope I can create the awareness about it among the parents and help adults who lived with these symptoms all their lives.
Thanks!!! All the best to you!
hi there!
very admirable of you to share your own experience. As a former psychologist, I have come to know quite a bit about ADHD and its possible repercussions. People tend to think "it's just a lack of attention" when in fact it's not that at all. I hope that creating a site about it will also help you on your own journey

Hi Emily,
Yes, I hope to help especially parents of children who suffer from it. Caring since childhood we can nip the problem in the bud.
Thank you! And all the best to you

I have suffered with Depression most of my life but over the past 5 years it has been bad. I lost my job as well as my health and hid away to suffer. So i can understand your struggles and admire your courage to share your story here!
Depression is a daily struggle, you need to keep on moving. If you stop and leave the destructive thoughts take over the head. You fall and it is very fast.
I attended a Somatherapy group that helped me a lot. You need to surround yourself with good energy and people so they can help you at the same time you can help them, this is what I did.
If you need to talk, I'm here.
I wish to you all success, peace and love.
