I have Created an Email Campaign!

So with my TLVFurbabies.com website (dedicated to the cuteness I enjoy everyday) I decided to attempt to create an email list so that I could go through the learning curve with an easier audience. I decided to go with Mailchimp because they offer a "free until you have a big list" function. I will start to put in passive affiliate marketing in the emails but overall it worked! I sent out my first welcome email (to myself through a different email address) and it came through all pretty and cute! Yay me! Im testing out the concepts from here with the cute site because really, If I mess up no one cares because they are there for the fuzzies!

To repeat an old line, that you have obviously grabbed onto: The money is in the list.

No matter what kind of 'fuzzies' you start out with, the promotions can come, later. ( as they should, if they are..)

I am not familiar with Mail Chimp, however, I have seen their logo on many emails I receive... This is no place to suggest a different one, just make sure they are, indeed, sending out to your entire list each time by testing them...

The reason I started with mailchimp is that the owner is a mentor in another writing community that I am part of, so far I really like them they make it very easy to create a sign up form, build a list and create email campaigns. not to mention its nice that they are free until you get a large list.. always a bonus when you're starting out

Mailchimp is great for starting out. They give you 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 e-mails per month for FREE, which is hard to beat.

If you need room to grow, Mailchimp does have a paid version, which gives you more subscribers and access to advanced features that are comparable to the other popular autoresponders (Aweber, GetResponse, Convertkit).

If you grow to 2,000 subscribers, that's a pretty darn good start.

One of the advanced features I like is tagging subscribers based on different actions they take. This allows you to customize your e-mail sequences.

For example, if they made it to your sales page, but didn't buy, this could trigger a new e-mail sequence with incentives for them to complete their purchase.

Good luck and always keep learning.

cool! Thanks for the info! Im just going through their training as well to find out all the tricks and such, I knew about the paid version and am very hopeful that I get to that point!

Great news. This is a valuable skill to master because it will help you build a business asset, your own list.

Good luck.
