Content Creation: Measuring Quality and Relevancy
The ultimate goal of writing a blog is (or should be) to provide quality content that is relevant to both the reader and your business goals.
So, how do we measure if what we have created meets these criteria? These are the two factors that I think are most important.
- Does the piece move the reader along the customer lifecycle? Are they encouraged to take the next step in the buying process? In other words, does your work move them from the research/awareness phase to the consideration/interest stage? From the consideration/interest stage to the decision/desire stage? From the decision/desire stage to the purchase/action stage?
If the answer is no, how can you improve the content so that it does? - Is your content share-worthy or engaging, and have you made it easy for the reader to share?
If not, how can you do so? Use interesting images, include social sharing links, embed Pinterest pin images, etc.
Do you agree with this? Do you have any other factors you think are essential for ensuring our content is both relevant and of high quality? I'd love to know your thoughts!

In the end Vicki it's not Rocket science, if you provide content that's interesting on an exciting topic and you find a way to make sure the public gets to read it, you will succeed. Jim
Thanks, Jim.
Yes - interesting content, exciting topic and people reading it sum it up nicely.
