A new idea for a sub-niche!
Hey everyone - today I am excited to have found a topic that I can work into my site, and that has AWESOME keyword tool results!!

I've been toying with the idea for weeks, and today started to really look into it - specifically - what to wear to religious ceremonies. Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Funerals, Quinceaneras, Confirmations, general worship services, etc.
I'd love to hear what you all think of that idea! It would be better income, especially for wedding attire...I still need to do more research before I'm ready to write the article - but I'm wondering whether or not it should be introduced as a page, or as a post first?

Thanks everybody! Been a busy week getting ready for the trip, plus helped my son move on Sunday. I'm ready for a vacation - but I'm already making notes and doing research for the new "tack" on my site.

Great idea and great website. In my opinion I would recommend pages as part of drop-down menus for the different ceremonies (e.g. What to Wear for Weddings) and on the page you could discuss what to wear for each religious or non-religious wedding ceremony even taking into account the time of day (daytime and after 5 pm). Enjoy the wedding you are going to attend and take note of what everyone is wearing. You'll be doing your research while having a good time. ~Marion

Sounds good! I would start out with a single post and share it around to see what kind of reception it gets. Then you could put it on its own page. It would be easy to monetize, too. Good Luck, Vicki!
Wow Vicki, I think that would be a smart move. Don't toy with it any longer! lol You could have a lot of fun writing about the various ceremonies and it would be interesting to the reader.
I would probably go with a post first, and later to a page, as you gather more information. Just my opinion. I'm sure it would work out either way for you.

Thanks Michelle! I was honestly curious about it, and decided to do some research, and voila! Discovered that it is asked, but not often answered. Now I'm panicky, because I have to go out of town this weekend (to a wedding - heh), and won't be back here at work until Tuesday. D'oh!
I hope no one steals my idea and beats me to it!
Of all things, going to a wedding?! Too funny. I think you'll be safe until next week, don't panic. Even if someone did take your idea, you have a unique writing style and way of going about this, so it will be all yours. :)

Thanks. Yep! Probably because I've been stressed about what to pack - and had to ask the bride what the dress code was (the wedding is on a yacht!) - and today I got an email from the couple suggesting what would be best for the other events.
I used to work at a major hotel, and sometimes we had ethnic weddings (one time the Father of the Bride rode into the hotel on AN ELEPHANT!). I've often wondered "what would I wear?" if invited to a wedding or funeral that was in a religion I'm unfamiliar with...
So - I'll have lots to think about while we're luxuriating this weekend!!
