Do I type anything that what in your mind or you have to make your post same with your wedsite.?

Hi Victoria, that's a great question. A good thing to do is put yourself in the mind of your reader.

Try to see what they see when they visit your site. Imagine what's going through their mind when they search a specific keyword phrase.

For example, let's say you were buying golf clubs as a gift for someone and you searched 'best golf clubs under $500'.

Google would give you list of articles that matched your search query. As you go down the list you see articles from sites like Golf Guys, Golfing For Green, Golf Digest etc.

They all look good.

But then you see an article titled "Best Golf Clubs under $500" from a site called *Meditation For The Soul*

This is an extreme example, but which site would you trust for current and accurate information about golf clubs? It probably won't be the site about meditation.

Google knows this as well so would rarely if ever rank a golf article from a meditation site no matter how good it was.

Furthermore, non-relevant articles that are not in your niche make it harder to rank articles that ARE in your niche. Those non-relevant articles confuse Google and make it difficult to know what your site is about, which hurts all of your rankings.

Taking it one step further, imagine you were learning about 'mindfulness' and reading a post on *Meditation For The Soul*. But the sidebar under Recent Posts listed non-relevant articles like "Best Golf Clubs Under $500" and "How I Made 6K Online"

Those might be good articles but they suddenly appear spammy because they have nothing to do with mindfulness or meditation. Subconsciously you might begin to question whether the article about mindfulness is trustworthy at all.

And instead of listing recent posts that compliment the mindfulness post and invite readers to go deeper into the site, the non-relevant posts would drive readers away.

Just some things to think about :-)

A blog post is something you write about that appears on your website. It can be about anything you want to write about, but a successful blog post is one that follows the topic of your niche. Your niche is that thing that you are promoting on your website. Could be about dog training. Swimwear for teens. How to make the perfect apple pie and other cooking recipes. Whatever makes you inspired to write. write about it! It doesn't have to be perfect. just start! You should go through the training here, as it tells you all about niches and blogging and how to set up your first website. Good luck and have fun with it!

Yes, its like writing or typing your thoughts, feelings and ideas on the internet. So instead of writting or discussing something on a sheet of paper and sharing it with someone in person, write it and you share it on the internet.

If you want to create a blog on the WA platform just go to your profile page and in the upper left corner click your profile image. Once you click it a list of options will pop up, click the one that says blog.

Hope that helped. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask them and if i cant answer them feel free to ask the community. Im confident someome will be about to help you.

I hope i answered your question or at least pointed you in the right direction. Good luck on your creating your new blog!

Best regards,

Christopher Winrow
