Click Theft on the Net Part 2

There are stacks of free tools downloadable on the net that can easily assist traffic thieves. These tools have been created by low-life.

The ignorant people I mentioned in Part 1 are typically Asian workers. They stand in front of rows of mobile devices using completely fake accounts, clicking, liking and sharing.

These paid people briefly comment on posts and write quick one-line reviews, usually in poor English. They are basically 'hired guns' who spend a lot of time replying to and sharing blog posts.

What they are really doing is creating false traction and therefore generating higher rankings for their criminal masters' websites.

If you are into AdWords or something like that, these thieves will display your ads on their 'carefully optimised' web pages and then hire their “fake” people to click them.

The thieves then get their ill-gotten commission and you get dud traffic ... and an expensive bill.

The worst thing is that the more fake traffic they pull, the higher Google ranks them!

This means they get to pull in even more "real" traffic.

We should complain to Google for allowing thieves to influence its search results — which is Google's only real offering to the online community by the way. Without companies and individuals advertising on search engines, there will be no business for Google — or Bing, or Facebook. Their search algorithms need tightening up.

This is not a good thing. I agree with you. Hopefully the new algorithm will help but I am sure they will find a way around it. Lets see what happens
