Turning it Loose
Hey WA community...
It's been a few weeks since my shift toward building my thought leadership brand in the area of herbalism. I've been hard at work building my website and trying to fill it out with a little bit of content at the same time -- not an easy task, as I've discovered. I run into (technical) snags daily with getting the website to do what I want it to do, so it's still evolving. But it seems that I'm way too much in my head about this so I decided to turn it loose for feedback while I continue working it.
My particular area of concern is my writing voice (from the blog content). I've always been told that I'm a good writer but I've been applying that to the business world for so long that I'm pretty self-conscious about my creative writing tone. Would love feedback on that, in particular.
As for the rest of the site -- I plan to lock up the Medicine Making (which would be videos of me making recipes) and the Plant ID (videos and presentations on how to identify a plant in the wild and wildcraft it into a medicine) behind a paid subscription wall. I don't have products yet so I'll need to take this off the menu but I have a couple of fans for whom I've done formulations that are encouraging me to offer Services as a clinical herbalist (which I've been resisting until I feel more confident about my skills).
I may want to find some way to accept limited clientele on a free or sliding scale basis. Not quite sure how to market that yet because sometimes people are super demanding and very unappreciative when you offer stuff for free – plus it cheapens your brand. Any thoughts on how I can attack that?

Vfxbanner's your frame work is fantastic. I can see your ideas. As you say just keep moving and creating. Just seeing your setup of your website is telling me I have to reach my ordinance not from my perspective, but from the point of, If I was to come to this site what would expect to see. You seem like you have a very good presentation of what you site is representing self help for your health and lifstyle. Just remember you cant please the masses just reach one and let that free advertisement do the rest.
