Lemonade Anyone?

I know, I know, I've been away a bit. There's a saying that when life gives you "lemons" (mishaps, annoyances, unplanned situations, etc), go and make the best of it by making lemonade. My fingers have turned numb for all the squeezing of lemons...
From Sour To Sweet
So, many of you read my mishap a few weeks ago, "Yikes! I Got Scammed!" I didn't fall into being scammed, I practically walked right through the door! In any event, I received my laptop after about 2 weeks and all was right with the world... sort of...
About a week later, I was using my laptop and received the "Batter Low" message on my screen, so I did what I always do, I plugged in the charger. Only this time, the notice didn't automatically disappear. Mmmm... Should I be concerned? Nah! I got work to do!

I should have been concerned. The next day, within 15 minutes of turning on my laptop, the "Battery Low" appeared again. Huh. That's odd, considering that I had it plugged in for hours the night before. Slowly, I was accepting the fact that something is wrong. I was advised to go to Best Buy to have one of their "geeks"take a look. Fortunately, the battery was fine; unfortunately, my power cord was dead. I decided to shop around for a universal charger, which basically means I went to Amazon.
My new power cord arrived within a few days and all is right with the world. But I couldn't help but notice that this was the 2nd "issue" I had with my laptop in one month.
So... What's The Lesson?
Keep a lot of pitchers on hand! Seriously! Projects will be interrupted; things get lost, stolen, or break; hackers never seem to take vacations; someone ate the last piece of cake... with 24 hours in a day, things are bound to happen. I'll admit it, I had about 10 seconds where I could feel frustration starting to overtake me. Everyone has their own methods, but I went into my room to read one of the Psalms I had read earlier and prayed. I just wanted to take a moment to refocus my energy on all I should be grateful for as opposed to getting flustered over a temporary situation.
So, I'm back and looking forward to an April full of abundance! A lovely weekend to you all, and always...
Strive to Thrive,
Veronica
