Progress Report!
I have been learning so much through WA! I wanted to share what has been going on now that I have been here as a Premium member for about a week now (it has been almost 2 weeks now, woohoo!)
- Thus far I have created my site, purchased a domain, created 8 new content posts, and gotten through Level 2 of the training.
- The niche that I am working in includes daily devotionals, bible/book studies, and reflections, which are like devotionals but longer and with more personal information included. I would say that my niche focuses on encouraging others!
- Though there are no financial successes yet I would say being able to create content has been a success. So far I have been able to create 4 posts today which is a big deal because the first post took about 1.5 days!
- I plan on adding two new sections to my site and within three months I will have a facebook for the site and also be ranked on Google (hopefully).
- By 6 months time I hope to have created some financial success but also to have more engagement on my site so I know that I am really reaching people!
I would also like to share that though a lot of this has been very easy to catch on I would say that learning wordpress after using wix was a bit difficult. They work very differently but Wordpress is such a great system! Wordpress lets you dive in and really gives you more access.
I am still learning and so excited to have been able to become part of such an awesome community!
May 2019 be a year of success for many people!

Sounds awesome and good plan, I would try to find a partner or someone that could duplicate your site to Spanish or Portuguese (or both).
Specially if you are in North America, that would increase your target market by 1 billion people, without extra effort :D
That is an amazing idea thank you! I did not think of translating it into another language but that would definitely increase my target!
Translating is always easy way to double content and conquest new market... ALSO, in specific languages competition is EASIER
Just a quicky on it:
Searching for BIBLE in US in English = About 813,000,000 results (0.62 seconds)
now in Spanish: Cerca de 602,000,000 resultados (0.54 segundos)
ALREADY 20% less competition
Searching for BIBLIA (spanish and portuguese word for bible) in US in English:
About 189,000,000 results (0.60 seconds)
and in Spanish: Cerca de 138,000,000 resultados (0.63 segundos)
AGAIN, 30% less competition
Compare PT + ES, to ENG ... while the market is SAME SIZE, EN has 4x more content!
PLUS. Content in English tends to be more professional!
That is great information!!! This is completely in line with my goal for my site so it will be something that I continue to look into and will hopefully be able to create!
You know.. I simply googled it... there is much more to go into... and of course it is very simple to say and harder to implement... you need to find someone to involve in the project.. that understands the goals and is native reliable in the language you choose HARD!
It will be a challenge because it will be building a whole new site with the same content but in a new language. So there will be several steps that I will need to take before doing so in order for the site to have a solid foundation before just doing it. I do like the idea though!
I am struggling, but I am trying to do my website directly from beginning in 4 languages :D #crazy
That is a HUGE goal! I look forward to following your site and would love to use it as reference when I am able to get mine into a second language.

I finished translating main pages 2 days ago (actually I still need some fixing in Spanish) and I just launched today the first post translation to PT.
So Blog has 1 post in EN and PT (the same one).
And main pages are translated for all languages (to reach SEO).
The thing is, I actually have a local business in which I am the newest, and also I dont speak the local language (I live in Bulgaria)... also there are 4 other businesses that PAY for Crossfit Affiliate program (they have links and can be searched by main Crossfit.com website).
So my goal is, beat the competition SEO-wise. Luckily the websites from competitors are pretty weak! And actually with the blog post and recent changes, Google FEATURED my website with keywords: CROSSFIT BULGARIA in anonymous.
Today, I searched for Fitness Blog Bulgaria... and 1st page already with 1 post only :D
Congrats! I do like the set up! Thank you for sharing, it is very encouraging to see that hard work will pay off and that it is very possible to set up a site in multiple languages (which I have seen done before I just didn't see it possible for me to do it).
I am native Brazilian, and I speak quite perfect Spanish and English (even writing in Spanish is farrrr from my comfort zone)... but I do have all 3 languages in business level, so that is easier...
