10 Acts of Online Kindness
It is easy to get wrapped up in business mode. How will my website benefit... will my site rank better if I do that... will I get a backlink if I do this...
Sometimes it`s good to do things for others just because it will make their day better. Maybe it will inspire them to pass on some ”goodness” their way.
This morning I was reading an act of kindness article and thought why not take this online.
This will not cost you a thing, it will not take much of your time but it might just make somebody`s day a whole lot better...
10 Acts of Online Kindness
1. Leave a helpful comment on somebody`s blog.
2. Visit a strangers website and send them an email and tell them how great/helpful whatever you like about the site, but ask nothing in return.
3. Tweet somebody else`s post because you like it.
4. Include a link on your site to a helpful blog in the same niche, let them know, but asking nothing in return.
5. Pin a great picture because you like it.
6. Answer a question or blog post here at WA.
7. Compliment another blog, writing, header whatever you like about it, always be honest though.
8. Google + a ”competitors” post or page.
9. Leave a helpful positive comment on a YouTube video you like.
10. Send an email to thank somebody that has helped you along the way.
For all of you that celebrate Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving.
Enjoy the time with family and friends!
Veronica

I loved your article! Thank you so much for the reminder. I've been so busy on my twitter account lately that I haven't been on here for a while. I just thought I'd say great blog! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Thanks Veronica, for all the reminders. The reminders above are what Kyle and Carson keep suggesting to use about "pay it forward to Ambassador".
So many folks are only concerned with their own site and making money online that they seem to forget that when we have a giving spirit, it not only shows in our site with helpful information, but it also shows in our online comments.
Seems that from time to time, someone throws a "monkey wrench" into the WA community to seemly, stir things up.
Since so many of us here have a positive attitude, their "monkey wrench" usually does not have much effect.
Thanks again for the reminders. Words of Wisdom.
:) Tom
Hi Veronica. Thanks for your very positive post. Even without Thanksgiving or similar days your point of vue as expressed is a stimulation. Kind regards and a happy thanksgiving. Antonius
Thanks for posting that Veronica. It's easy to forget to pass it forward or just to compliment someone. Random acts of kindness is more than a mindset, it's who you are as a person, or who we should all practice to be to one another.
It is easy to forget in our busy every day life. This time of year it`s good to get back in the habit of being thankful but also to pass along some act of kindness.
I agree, this internet seems to be crammed with negative people and negative thoughts. Thank you very much for your post.
VERY cool!
Love this post. If we all did just 2 things on that list, we would all make the internet a better place to be and do business!
Exactly, if we try to make the internet a better place it will be a better experience for all.
