Patience is a Virtue

Before I decided to do this, I was torn. I didn't want to but simply put, my hair was a real mess!!! I had some length, but it was badly damaged from the middle and especially at the ends. More than anything I want healthy hair. So I made the decision and went for it.

Depending on the texture of a person's hair, will determine how you should care for it and what you should put in your hair. I recently began researching how to transition from relaxed hair to natural hair-----So much information is out there !

I learned there are numerous hair types. Difference in curls, waves lengths and in my case ----NAPS!! (When I was little I was called Nappy-pappy---I chuckle at that...lol). I had to understand how curl patterns, hair density and hair absorption contribute to how I need to care for my hair. Because my hair is semi- coarse, I use all natural type commercial products, organic oils and whole foods everyday to tend to the needs of my growing, natural hair.

I 'm at the beginning stages of my newly, short natural hair. If you want to share your story, offer suggestions, or give me some tips, comment below.

Staying Strong,

Patience is not a Virtue. It is a learned art. It takes time and effort to learn the art of Patience. Trial and not errors but crooked corners. Best of luck always.

Care to share the crooked corners viewpoint?...I'm game. (smile)

Patience isn't a virtue? Crap. Mothergoose lied to me.

Well with lack of patience you really don't error because you are learning so it is more of going around crooked corners then going down a straight line. On a straight line you don't have much to really worry about. With the crooked corners you never really know what is there so it tries your patience more. Best of luck always
