Starry Sky and Moral Law

This Kant's phrase resonates so much with me.Just read it and admire its beauty.

"Two things awe me most, the starry sky above me and the moral law within me."

Go out tonight. Look at the sky with myriads of stars.

Think of the beauty and awesomeness of the universe.You and I, we have come to this world for a purpose.When you see how beautiful the sky is, when you think of the one who put the stars on the sky and brought you to this world, something will happen.

You'll forget small petty things which our life is often filled with. You'll be filled with understanding of unity with the rest of mankind and the universe.

You'll forget your troubles, because these stars, this sheer beauty are out there for you.

If we looked at the stars and pondered upon the power that makes the universe and us exist , if we were curious about other galaxies,we wouldn't dwell on our petty things and thought big.

A well-known formula of moral law formulated by Kant is also known as Categorical Imperative.

Kant says a person matters and a person is never a means to achieve somebody's goal. That ascends us to a starry sky again, because the stars are not for the chosen, the stars are for everyone, and executing one's own law, we should think of the universal principles which work
