Spring is upon us with its beauty, awakening of nature and awakening of man and new plans and new expectations. But it also it brings with it changing weather, and everyone knows that cooler weather is the advent of cold and flu season. The viruses which cause both flu and cold replicate more easily in weather that’s cool, but not too cold.

It's important to distinguish between a cold and flu because the treatment and consequences are different.
" Both the cold and flu can cause coughing, sore throat, and, in some cases, fever. Fever (over 100.4°F or 38 °C) as a cold symptom is more common in children, while fevers due to flu are usually greater than 101°F or 38.3°C. If you have a cold, you may also experience nasal congestion and runny nose. On the other hand, if you have the flu, you may notice body aches (myalgia), headaches, and shaking.[28]
- The symptoms of a cold usually last one week on average. If they last longer or worsen, you may be developing a secondary infection like an ear infection, sinus infection, or bronchitis."

And you might notice an ineresting tendency:

You might be prone to catching colds on holidays or at the weekend.Very many people try to resist sickness on working days and crash during the first week of holidays.

Try to strengthen your immune system on regular basis. Drink teas with lemon, honey, ginger.

Get physical exercise

Take cold showers and hot showers, and still better, swap them.

Get enough sleep.

Deal with stress in your life, be positive.

Laugh. That's my favourite advice for every day.

In case you want to fake sickness:

And it's very good that we can catch not just a cold.
We can catch a fish.
or not catch...
We can catch a cat doing funny things as well.

Or we can catch a cat.

We can catch a ball.

We can catch ourselves smiling...
We can try to catch up with our co-students in WA who do better than we do.
We can follow our dream and catch it.
