Still Learning
I'm so happy right now being with wealthy affiliate for the past 2 years. Trust ME WHEN I SAY I didn't know that time would have flown so fast but the ride has truly been amazing. From the outset I got on this journey to make some extra income, My focus was solely on making money as I thought that it was my problem in this life. Living from paycheck to paycheck and not having enough months at the end of the money was my challenge. However, this was short lived as 6 months into the process I realized that it was more than just money in itself. It was me and how I view myself and my success; My whole thought process on a daily basis. Imagine that!!!
You must be asking, how on earth did i realize this.... its after going from shiny objects to shiny objects, sitting through hundreds of hours of webinars and trying myriads of quick fixes and programs that promises massive successes where the dough would just be rolling in online......Well my bubble did burst and feeling defeated, dejected and at a loss, I quit for several months.
I decided that this wasn't for me and I WOULD BE BETTER OFF STICKING TO MY 9-5. Well that's what I thought. As I was still subscribed to The Wealthy Affiliate Academy I continued to receive updates from time to time from others who are making it happen and not giving up. I read through several of these post hoping that It would spark my interest to try again. Eventually, I decided that "if its to be its up to me" and it wouldn't hurt to put some time and effort in to see this through. I came back having very low expectations but with some hope that I would ultimate find what I WAS LOOKING FOR: A way to contribute on a larger scale...doing something that scares the hell out of me.
My rank in Wealthy Affiliate does not justify what I've learned since being here or the ups and down of this journey thus far, It might be that I'm still fearful, but what I can say is that there will always be fear, I have jumped and I'm trusting in my parachute....I'm building...I'm learning and meeting new friends....I'm reading a book a week,...I have a mentor.....and I'm having conversation with like minded individuals. Now my goals aren't just about making money but about creating value for all through my own personal development and to find that place where I will continue to evolve.......

What an inspirational blog! I, too, have been here for a long time....went through the bling/bells/whistles....nothing/nada...then personal crisis/deaths/more crisis....now getting into to groove again...albeit like a beginner, but a knowledgeable and eager one. Keep it up!
