Why I Am A New Member

To the Members, Kyle and Carson,

I cancelled my membership with Wealthy Affiliate on Sunday, August 9th 2015. I would like you to know why I suddenly cancelled my membership.

As you probably know by my bio, I am 82 years old and I am a healthy person, however I do have macular degeneration in both eyes. 8 years ago, I began monthly injections in my left eye. Then 3 years ago, my right eye was diagnosed with the dry type of macular, injections do not work, but it is a much slower to become completely blind.

On Friday, August 7th, my left eye was deteriorating quickly and I hit the panic button. Thinking ahead, I decided to stop all of my payments that weren't absolutely necessary and concentrate on moving to California to be near my family there.

These payments included Wealthy Affiliate.

I did have another injection yesterday (Monday, August 10th) and we will see what the results will be. But I think I should spend my time on getting ready to move and taking care of my eyes.

Since I was not allowed back in, my question was this. What happens to the people who were following me and is it possible I could rejoin Wealthy Affilaite as a free member until I can again become premium some time down the road. Also I wondered what happens to my websites?

This morning, Tuesday, August 11th, I opened 2 emails from members announcing that they were following me. I got another email from a member who left me a private message. There was no way I could get in. I also had received an email from Kyle with renewal information.

In frustration, I decided to renew my membership, however, it doesn't look like I just continue as usual, it looks like I AM a NEW Premium member. So I will deal with it.
