An Awesome Journey Thus Far

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to take a moment to share what I feel have been my high moments in WA so far. I am just completing course 2 lesson 10 in the training series, (ok I'm slow, but steady) :-)

To those who may be new, I would encourage you to take the training seriously, and put each step into action. As I have shared before, I joined WA in 2013 but did not make progress for months, because I was not following the training. My advice: Take the Get Started training. Or do the Affiliate Bootcamp if you can't think of a niche. Having a guide has made all the difference in my getting things done.

So here's what I'm grateful for so far on this journey:

1. I have met some awesome people inside WA, many of whom have answered questions, suggested changes to my site, pointed me in the direction of tools. To me, the best accomplishment has been networking with you wonderful WA members. Yes, you. Thanks so much for all your help.

2. Built the foundation of my website, many of you have commented on my posts and/or pages at www.veganprescription.com. Some people have made my day by committing to make a healthy change in their diet after visiting my site. This is my goal - to raise awareness of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle for prevention of chronic diseases. Once I get traction with traffic, this has the potential to help thousands avoid diabetes, heart disease, obesity and some cancers.

3.Created a blog. 1 year ago I had no idea how to create a blog, today, thanks to WA, I have several posts on my blogroll, and the ability now to create valuable information for my visitors at will.

4.Branched out into Google+. This is supposed to help google find me and rank my pages as I build out a more content-rich site. If you have not yet connected with me there, I invite you to do so. https://plus.google.com/u/0/100127022000297921722

What's ahead? In the next 3 months, I hope to learn how to use social media more effectively, build traffic and engage my visitors more effectively on my site. My long-term goal is to have an authority site to which I can send friends, acquaintances, patients, anyone to learn reliable information on health promotion and disease prevention through lifestyle.

My desire is to also show others how to build their own online information & income -generating site through WA.
