2015 is our year
The New Year is off to a sleepy start for me. I've been traveling across the globe, so I'm jet lagging. But I only slept for 3 hours this afternoon, so I should be able to sleep well tonight. Yesterday, on the other hand, was ridiculous, I slept 14 hours and was up all night. Oh well, at least I cleaned the refrigerator, the kitchen, went grocery shopping and bought a few new outfits for work. (First time I have been in the store when it closed at 2am).
Tomorrow I will spend some time setting my goals for the year. Here are a few that come to mind right now - I'll need to fine tune them and add others.
1. Walking or swimming most days for conditioning. I want to improve my stamina and strength, and complete at least four 5K races this year. Maybe one per quarter. Will try to remember to post pics.
2. Make more homemade bread - I love making my own food, and healthy whole grain bread once per month would be fun. Add recipes to site.
3. 9 fruits/veggies per day - green juice, salad, plant snacks. Don't you LOVE plants?
4. Devote 1 hr per day to prayer and meditation - I am grateful for God's blessings and want to be more mindful of them.
5. Limit TV to 1 hr or less per day - HGTV is my favorite station, love the renovations and fixer-upper shows. Maybe one day I'll actually do one.
6. Write a page or post for my website every week on Sunday or Monday - that would give me 52 more pieces of content over the year. BY THE WAY, to those who have commented on my site, did you receive my response? Or should I be responding to email addresses directly? Oh, and thanks so much for all your support and encouragement. You guys rock!
OK, I'd better go to bed, otherwise I'll still be upside-down with regards to time again tomorrow!

Thanks Kristina. That's my foundational goal. If I neglect prayer and meditation, everything else goes out of balance.
Vanessa, great list, we share some similar goals.
I want to do just one 5K this year. I want to beat my best time for a 5K from when I was in my 30's.
Meditation is new for me, but it's now a part of my daily routine.
More fruits and vegetables, yes I plan to add a new one every week.
My goal is 3 to 5 articles a week for my website.
Which brings me to something we discussed last year... to Exchange Guest Blogs.
No rush, no pressure, but I'm ready if and when you are.
