When I first signed up to WA I used the site builder just to test it out. I want to delete the pointless site I created, but whenever I try to I just get the error message "Oop
I've had that many times too, and just tried again at different times until it worked. I could've contacted support to zap it but it didn't bother me too much. For why it was happening, I've no idea...
What do I do now I can't delete my site?

Probably a temporary issue. You have two sites on the free membership, so I'd just work on your new site for now, then go back after a day or two to try to delete again.
