We've all been there - the start of the workweek is slowly approaching and you are beginning to fill in all the gaps in your to-do list. Your mind starts setting on where you might be spending your income. You begin mentally filling in the blanks - the holiday home, the new car, the holiday home, the new car, the holiday home...

But then reality sets in - the bank account is still aching from last week's shopping. And it's now late September and the new car is a distant memory as you stare at the ceiling, muttering to yourself "Why me? I'm not one to ask for second mortgages..."

So the question rings in your mind: What now? Where are the holidays? Where are the new cars? And the further you think about it, the more it seems obvious that you need to take control of your finances!

So you go online to search for things that you need to buy. But nothing seems to be working. You sign up with every website that promises to help you buy stuff. But the more you sign up with these sites, the more confused you become as to what exactly you need to buy.

Then you wonder: Is this it? Is this all there is? Are you doomed to be broke for the rest of your life?

To tell you the truth, the answer is no. It's not all there is. But there is some very important information that you need to learn and then you need to apply it. And that is:

1. How to find a financially viable hobby: a financially viable hobby can only be found by researching the various online forums which discuss your target market. But the best example of such discussion is a forum that discusses electric guitars and how to buy an electric guitar. You will note that the forum covers a broad spectrum of styles from the electric guitar beginner, to expert.

2. How to write a sales letter: This is similar to the previous point. But instead of just trying to sell guitars you try to sell electric guitars, and you write your own sales letter based on the guitar information. The sales letter should be geared towards your target audience's needs.

3. How to build a squeeze page: With a squeeze page you use an autoresponder to follow up with your visitors who opt-in to your newsletter. So you can build a list of your intended audience.

4. How to promote your squeeze page: The squeeze page can be promoted in a number of ways. But the most important is by using PPC (pay-per-click). A Google keyword tool is also an option.

How can you master these components? That's what this article is for. All you need to do is:

1. How to find a financially viable hobby. This is simple. There are many free resources on the internet such as Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, etc.

2. How to write a sales letter. This is a very important topic because the truth is that a good sales letter is the lifeblood of your business. You can spend hours coming up with your product. Or you can just use a Google keyword tool to quickly generate a lot of keyword phrases.

How can you build a list? This is a tricky topic. You can use a free service like AWeber, or you can build your own autoresponder. I recommend the Google keyword tool.

How can you promote your squeeze page? Again, you can use a Google keyword tool, or you can use a Squidoo lens. It depends on your budget. And how can you build a list? This is the most important topic for beginners.

And most importantly:

"How can you quit your day job?"

I've quit my day job, a couple of months ago. Why? Because I was sick of fighting with my boss to get the things I wanted. And to quit my day job meant that I'd have time to spend time with my family, work on the business with less stress, and finally put money in my pocket without any problems.
