I'm feeling a bit stuck. I need to step back go through the course again. I need figure out what I have completed and what's coming up. I need to go through my website pages, categories, shop, plugins and post to see what I have and what needs to be changed or deleted. I have to review all my notes on SEO and update my post accordingly. Then I have to rewrite my schedule for next week. I am a bit overwhelmed. Not really sure what to do first and I can't seem to focus.

What Have I accomplished?

Course One:

  • I understand how I will be making money online.
    • Someone will search for something, they see my post on Social Media then they go to my website like what they read and want to buy my art or join my newsletter to stay up to date with my art.
    • Or they search on a search engine and find my website, like what they read and want to buy my art or join my newsletter to stay up to date with my art.
  • I have my Niche:
    • My art is my Niche.
      • I make and sell Space and Sacred Geometry themed Paintings and Digital Art.
      • I write content about The Cosmos and Sacred Geometry as well as explain the inspiration and meaning behind my art.
  • I have built my website
  • Built my core pages written core content
  • I setup my store using WooCommerce
  • I know how to search for and use keywords to write content

Course 2:

  • I bought my domain
  • I have my theme and I'm sticking with it until I decide to change it in a year or so
  • I organized my menu and written initial content for some of my post categories
  • I understand "Low Hanging Fruit" keywords
  • I wrote a Keyword rich post.

I haven't started Course 3 yet I want to work on my website some more before moving on.

What Do I Need to do?

  • Learn how to configure my SEO plugin
  • Learn how to use the Sumome plugin someone recommended I use
  • Learn how to use PageBuilder
    • want to create a slider for the art that I will be selling
  • Write an up to date Privacy Policy since I will be collecting emails, debit, and credit card numbers and addresses through WooCommerce.
  • Update my Store
    • sort through all my art I want to sell
    • Take pictures of them and upload
    • buy shipping supplies
    • Write post about my art I'm selling
      • inspiration and meaning
  • Complete a list of Keywords to use from my Core website keywords

I feel like I'm missing something but I don't know what. I have a better understanding of where I am and where I need to focus on now. The question is how do I schedule time for this??? This weeks schedule didn't go so well and I'm still not sure why. I don't know how to fix it. I'm going to try to schedule the most important things first then write in everything else.

Yes, life is filled with many concerns that we have to attain to. We only need to prioritize what is urgent.

Looks like you are making good progress so far. The missing things are probably waiting for you in Course 3.

Which SEO plugin are you using?

As for the schedule, were there any times during the last week when you felt you were wasting time or catering to somebody else's agenda and not your own? I'm not talking about employment obligations and things like that, but more social activities and "leisure" or "downtime".

If so, those are the areas you need to work on. It took me a long time to see that my self-image as an "easygoing" kind of friend who usually said "yes" to social activities was one of the biggest obstacles to my own progress and development. The process of breaking away from my old circles was also gradual, but in the end more complete and radical than I anticipated at the beginning. But each step gave me strength to take the next one. It helps once you stop wanting to be popular and place more value on pursuing your own vision for your life instead.

I'm not sure if that is an issue for you; it is just my perspective.

However, in spite of your scheduling "failures", you are making good progress. And the way you are thinking through the mis-steps is also very positive.

Yea it probably is lol I did skim over the topics and saw something I might be looking for.

I'm using the all in one SEO, I know there is a video on how to set it up and I'm watching that tomorrow.

As for my schedule, I think I found the culprit. I'm scheduling too much in one day! I'm scheduling to write too much in one week! I don't need to post every single day about a different topic. I can just post once or twice a week about one topic: Sacred Geometry, AstroCosmo News, Blog about my Art Life, Blog about my Personal Life(or something else, idk yet).

I did have to stay in when I scheduled to go out with my boyfriend because my mom was getting new furniture and someone had to be there to sign. She told me the night before so that was annoying. Then the next day I slept in late because I was up all night cleaning and organizing after the furniture guys left. Then my boyfriend wanted to go somewhere but since I woke up late we couldn't make it. I found something else for us to do tho. But that took away from my art time.

So this week I only painted once and posted twice.

I guess what I need to do is tell everyone my schedule and tell them I will NOT reschedule for any reasons. But then I don't want to sound selfish... But I have to be selfish lmao

Yep, scheduling too much in a day is what I do too!

Mums and boyfriends are probably up there with bosses on the list of important people who you can (or must!) adapt your schedule for. :)

In my case it is wives and daughters (actually, I only have one of each of those...)
