My first blog - A New Venture

That's right! I've been spending all kind's of time trying to figure out what in the name of blue bellybutton fuzz I should talk about in a blog. Something I love? That's wide open, as I'm into a lot of things. I love playing music, though. Especially my drums. Ok, I'll talk about that.

Now that I've got that figured out, what kind of topics will draw people toward spending money at an affiliate's website? I am horrible at selling anything, but I can tell people what works. I can tell them about techniques. I can give tips on equipment to use in the studio and at gigs. I can even hook them up with links with teachers who can play far better than I ever have in my entire forty years of beating on my kit.

It would feel great to tell people about things that would benefit them and make a living at it at the same time. In fact, it would be incredible! And in all those years, playing drums isn't all I've done. So I would write about other aspects and experiences I've had to the same effect. But first, I need to practice the art of blogging and maybe hear a word or two back from readers to keep me on track.

My website is www.drumventure.com

There you will find the kind of information I was just talking about. I will be getting in a bit of practice here. So, ta ta da da! And we're off!

I'm quoting you..."The sound of your kit is a reflection of your drummer’s personality. As with guitarists, you can often tell who is playing by the tone of their instrument. Like every other musician, the drummer is on a personal quest for that sound. There are rules you can break and some that you shouldn’t. You’ll know which is which when you hear that sound."

I'm no musician, other than I know where to change the station and volume, replace the CD's, but you combine your emotional ties with your love for drums. I am not sure I could ever hear the drummer's mood, other than perhaps an aggressive one, assuming I know the drummer very well, but the way you combine some life insights and subtle advice to your passionate love for your music is unique. I will be reading more at drumventure dot com, but in the name of blue belly fuzz, please stay here!!!!

If your horrible at selling then you're in good shape. Making money online is about teaching techniques, how things work and giving tips.
