As you have subscribed to WA as a premium member your monthly membership payments will be automatic. If you'd like to change to yearly billing and save a heap of money you can do that from your account settings.

Click on your picture, then account settings, and the subscription can be upgraded in the middle of the page.

Under your profile, in your Account Settings there is a place I believe to set up your payments. It looks like right now you are not premium. You may have to check to see how you set up your premium payments.

As long as you pay your dues you are still premium.

I don't think Google will punish you for this at all. As long as your original post is linked to the affiliate link page.
They may rank your first page but not the affiliate link page but that will not matter as your post will link to the page where people can purchase.

I don't think Google will punish you. I see a lot of sites that do this but it will be interesting to see what others say too.

This is challenging due to there being so many choices. I can only share how I chose my themes. One theme was a recommdation from a member here and when I tried it, perfect fit. The other two, I knew generally what I was looking for. I literally sat with a glass of wine and scrolled through until I found what I liked, took about an hour. Clicking the demo buttons gives you an instant feel. Also Having a few ideas already in mind is helpful for example how busy do you want it to be, do you want sliders, do you want your menu at the top or on the sides? When I was looking for themes I looked for a few core components because each one is also customizable. Good luck your theme is out there you just have to find it. :-) Btw my 3 themes are customizr, Marin lite, and twenty fifteen.

It depends on the niche. A theme that is great for a pro news-type of site may feel too complex for other small niches... etc...

Check out popular themes/layouts in your chosen niche. If they are popular it also means your target audience may be 'familiar' with those themes. If you use a similar theme, your users will already know how to navigate, etc...

Then look for a theme that has a demo that looks like the most popular themes in your niche.
