Hi Folks,
Have been in a consuming mode for last two weeks and have been consuming lots of information on internet marketing.
Learning a lot, and hoping to implements some of the ideas in the future.
Sometimes it feels overwhelming- scanning, reading blogs and articles, watching the Info videos about the trade because there is no end to it. Do you ever feel like you have to know so much more?
I love learning, but I have to remind myself that there is no end to learning. Every bit of information looks like gold nuggets.
Perfectionism sometimes scares the shit out of me, and through my experiences, I can tell you that that it prevents many of the people from going for what they want- Paralysis by Analysis!
You like to start it perfect and you want to spend so much time perfecting yourself even before you get started.
However, the problem is as soon as you start, you will notice things are not going perfect as you wish.
What I find helpful to cope with this problem is to keep reminding oneself that it is common problem faced by millions. It is not some special problem designed for you exclusively by some special genes!
We should remind ourselves there are many brilliant minds on earth who don’t even try out things because they were simply hunted by the thoughts of what will others think about them if they happen to make mistakes in the process.
Making mistakes is part of the process. Even most brilliant plans fail miserably but the show shouldn’t stop there.
You will have to get up quickly, address the problem, change your strategy and move on.
No deep shit philosophizing about failures! Move on.
The stories that you tell yourself in your head are not facts, they are utter bullshit you picked up from your environment. Change your story, reframe them, and make them more U friendly, more productive, more life enhancing.
Okay, here is real deal:
We want to spend more time producing than consuming.
An advice from an Internet Marketer: Spend 40 percent learning, and 60 percent implementing.
For instance, spend 40 percent of an hour learning or doing the training and 60 percent on building contents.
