It is your choice. WA owns and hosts siterubix free and is yours to use as long as you are member. However, just say for whatever reason you leave, you cannot take it with you. Owning a domain means you control it and come move wherever you host as long as the yearly 15 bucks is paid. I buy mine so that no-one else can register the domain name I want. It is my real estate and will be handed to my kids after when I am no longer in the right frame of mind lol
