You are more than free to move on to the lesson anytime you want. However, publishing content is key to traffic. The more quality content you have, the more targeted traffic you get = the more sales you can generate. Publish your content even if it is a bit messy as long as it makes sense. Try to edit it later or improve it. In that post, you can then insert your affiliate links to whatever applies. Goodluck~! Don't rush!
