Transfer Existing Domains
So I am convinced...even in spite of the recent deficits in mental capacity. In fact, I am so convinced about WA that I would like to move my existing domain to WA. This way, I can manage all my sites from one place. May as well pick the best place, eh? ;)
Funny thing. When I came across WA, I was just in the process of updating my site and doing a bit of remodeling. Since coming here, I have left that work entirely undone and really need to get back to it! Now that I have learned and accomplished so much here, applying it all to my regular business site should be quite a boost.
My "regular" business is that of a Private Investigator. And, no, folks. It is nothing like you see on those silly shows! I am working on a BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in Strategic Intelligence. This has brought me greater experiences and such that I thought would be appealing on my site. You know--drive traffic, reach clients, et al.
...but then I found WA and got a bit sidetracked!
Bottom line is this past February I paid for another full year for managing my domain on Yola (where I originally built it). I own the domain. That is not the problem. The issue is I am trying to find a way to transfer that site to WA without paying again for a site that is already paid for.
Is there a way to do this? Or should I simply just wait out the year I already paid for at Yola?
*Please note: I am not asking how to transfer the domain from Yola to WA. I got that much down.
Here is the site, with much needed remodeling: uncommonknow.com

Not that I know what I'm talking about. But I read blog on here just the other day about transferring, It said to back up all of your content on like a thumb drive. Then transfer, not really sure how that works though. It sounds painstaking to me. lol

Ha! Thanx, but as I noted (in bold at the bottom of the post) I am not asking "how" to transfer... :p
It's not the domain, I'm talking about the content and images.
Domains are easy to transfer.
