Taking Care Of Yourself

For some reason, around the age of 40, our bodies begin to change. Our vision begins to fade. Our tummies begin to increase in size. It is more difficult to stay healthy, lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle after 40.

There is nothing more frustrating than to spend all your energy and every waking hour on your job and then become too sick to work. It is especially frustrating when you find out the illness could have been avoided.

As entrepreneurs, we tend to give our all to our businesses but don’t allow any time for ourselves. Sometimes that is not the greatest plan. We all need to develop a plan that will allow us to perform efficiently and yet maintain a healthy lifestyle.

As we go through the process of working hard and living healthy, below are listed some recommendations toward that end:

·Establish a routine exercise program. Pick an exercise or exercises that are good for you. You need to exercise 30 minutes a day, 3 or 4 days a week.

·Set definite hours to work. The rest of the day belongs to your family and for your leisure time.

·Stay away from junk foods. Be sure to eat fresh fruits and meats and vegetables.

·Allocate time every day to spend with your family. They deserve your time and attention today and every day.

·If you are a spiritual person, spend some spiritual time every day.

It is my hope that when you take care of yourself, you will be able to achieve your goals by working hard and living healthy.

You are important to your job and to your family at home.
