An Exciting First Six Weeks

The last 6 weeks have been exciting but I expect the next six months to be even more exciting.

Since joining WA I have obtained my own domain, have put together a web site that is ready for consumption and have learned more than I could have imagined.

On the old TV show “Hee-Haw” the patient in the doctor’s office said, “Doctor, Doctor when I move my arm this way it hurts.” Then the doctor said, “well, don’t do that dummy” and hit the patient with a rubber chicken. I’ve done some things on my web site that didn’t produce the results I wanted. So, I keep the rubber chicken by my side so when I make the same mistake again and get the same results, I hit myself and say “don’t do that again, Dummy.”

I have enjoyed meeting, greeting and following. The blogs are special. I have already found myself looking forward to more blogs from my favorite bloggers.

I have set up Google+ and Google authorship. It was a thrill to see my profile photo appear on the verification page.

For the next few months I look forward to continuing with the courses offered, to writing a blog a week and to help other affiliates with their questions. I also look forward to my website http://losing-weight-after-40.com turning into a money making monster.

Fantastic progress, well done and keep up the good work!Your chosen niche is one of the best ones when it comes to making money online.Do you have a Pinterest account?

No. What is the advantage of Pinterest? Would you be willing to teach how to get on?

Pinterest is just another social network, but unlike places like Facebook and Twitter, you submit pictures that can then get shared and get you traffic. Pinterest is just another way to get traffic to your site and/or create a following, but if your site isn't focused on visual learning/entertainment, it might be not useful to get a pinterest account.

In my view the advantages of Pinterest are, that you use images as a form of communication, which is fast and efficient. From personal experience around 30-40% of my traffic comes from pinterest and I spend about 10-15 minutes on it a day.A lot of the traffic on Pinterest itself is generated by people sharing your images , which I find quite useful.
Thank you so much for giving me an idea to create a video on how to use Pinterest and I have written it down on my to-do list.

I can't believe I just saw this post now! I'm very happy to hear about the progress you've been making Bud. I hope the next months and even years bring you the satisfaction and accomplishments you've been aiming to achieve (and more!). As always, we're here to help if the need arises.

I really appreciate all the help you have given. Last week was a good week. Web page made the first page of Google search. Woo-Hoo!

Love your website subject UncleBud. I am on a weight loss journey myself as my knees started complaining and my energy levels were outrageous. Curious enough first thing I did was to cut sugar intake almost completely (I just have one sugary thing a week or so) and I feel new within just 3weeks on doing this. So when I landed on your website I really liked the first post i saw addressing the subject "sugar is connected with so many health risks". Keep up the nice content. You have inspired me to do the same. :D
Success on your online journey. Nice to connect with people like you :D
Make it a great day!
~Cristina

Thanks Cristina. Writing a post on Ketosis this week. Research on this subject has proven to be very interesting. Glad to hear your story about eliminating sugar. Keep it up.

Loved Hee-Haw. I'd forgot about the rubber chicken. Thanks for the reminder and the laugh. I need to get a rubber chicken, might help keep me for running through the tulip fields and back to work. Note * said MIGHT!

Great job!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to your next blog.

thanks for the humour, or humor, it is always welcome!

Good job, UncleBud. Keep up the good work and the enthusiasm. Success is down the road for us all, we just have to have there wherewithal to get there.
