My First Week

So, I am coming towards the end of my first week here on Wealthy Affiliate and figured I would keep a Blog of my journey and progress to look back on.

Starting out I am completely clueless when it comes to anything online, except shopping..lol..so I figured this would be really hard and take forever to do, I mean, build a website? Yeah right, I never in a million years thought that I would be building a website, yet alone making money off of one. I got to say, the idea seems nice, amazing even, I just am hoping I’m half as successful at it as some of the people on here, and even my brother, yes, my brother! Actually it was my brother who got me interested in wanting to try this, he’s a computer genius and has made tons of money online, from ghost writing, copy writing, ogling green” to emails, to affiliate marketing, building websites for big companies, and he’s AMAZING at everything he does. I have asked him how to do what he does, and he’s always so busy that he can’t take the time to show me anything...ugh, brothers, anyways, he did however refer me to Wealthy Affiliate and told me after all his research they are the one company he would recommend me to, and so upon his recommendation I tried it out.

Day one, I watched the videos and got tons of messages from Kyle and Carson, among others, welcoming me and making themselves completely available to me to answer any questions. I honestly have never felt so welcomed and like I wouldn’t be laughed at or judged for asking a question that may seem “stupid” I truly felt like I could ask anything, and trust me, I did because I didn’t know a thing.

The videos are very informative and easy to follow, I was surprised at how easy they truly were. I literally watched my videos in a day and half and started working on my website, which would have been setup sooner, but I had an issue in coming up with a niche, as a lot of newbies do.

I know it’s not an easy road, and I’m not expecting to “get rich quick” but I am very excited about this, it’s fun to do and it helps take my mind off things, being I’m a stay at home mom of three teenage boys my day can get overwhelming and so this helps take my mind off things, as well as my frustrations, anyone with teenagers can understand that.

Now it’s to sit back and watch my websites, generate new ideas, create new niches, new websites, and watch as many webinars as I can, I want to learn as much as possible. Seriously, there’s ALWAYS something we can learn and improve, it’s the only way to get better..trial and error and the willingness to listen and learn, very important to success.

I hope everyone has had as amazing of an experience as I have had. I know I may not know much, but if anyone needs any help, I’m always here. :) Also, a huge thank you to everyone that’s been more then helpful to me in my journey.

My last words are simply this, no matter how hard something seems, you have to try in order to fail or succeed at something, you can’t say you can’t do something if you never even try, you’ll never know what you’re truly capable of if you give up before you even start. You have to be willing to fail to be able to succeed.
