Hi Everyone:
I have been registered with WA for about six months. When Iaccepted the challenge I had no idea what I was getting into. I felt like Socrates who one said "I know I do not know". I knew absolutely nothing important about the knowledge necessary for success.
I was searching for company that could possibly help me to better understand how to work with my vision for Tommy's Team. I am the owner/founderand I clearly new what my vision and mission was intended to be but had noknowledge as to how to develop it for clarity on the web. I needed a trustworthy blueprint to follow and didn't have one until I found and joined WA.
I knew right away that WA was the best chance I had for feeling more confident about my self. The courses and the suggestions from our members is to me the best there is. I have been fooled many times before.
My Biggest Problem: Time...
Time was always short for me. I was trying to learn; complete a site that was previously started before WA and just the daily demanding chores of life itself. WA was a true blessing in disguise because I am sure I could not have gotten to where I am today. Now I have all the confidence and hope that is necessary for the growth of Tommy's Team.
During the six months I devoted 3 of them to tommysteam.comwhich went live 07/07/2017 effecting my struggle for completing my necessary training with WA. One of those months was lost trying desperately to bring my site to WA for hosting. We had so much difficulty; only to find out that our present site was not a Word Press site and as such not compatible to connect within Word Press. That was a Hugh disappointment to me.
I have no doubt; I need all that WA has to offer and I my present intention is to get back on board and become the very best I can. I have so much to learn but also I have learned so much. I am gratefuland hope To help others as you all have helped me.

I feel your pain! I feel I have pretty much wasted over 2 months now trying to whack away and making the decision to move my website which was not a word press site...in the mean time trying to learn how things work here and online overall as well. I finally got an answer to my questions about my site move from a member here and it actually was transferred here today! Finally! I am so excited and same as you am excited to get on board and be the best I can from here out! Thanks for sharing as I for one can relate!
I am planning on doing so this week! I copied everything on the site and moved the domain name and hosting here..now just have to rebuild it in a word press theme! I wasn't able to just convert it since it was done in Godaddy site builder! I have luckily had help here to figure this out and am confident I will have it back up very soon!

I didn't try to convert my site tommysteam.com so I will continue and see if I have to or NOT...I also found some one to assist but i believe my site is too complicated for me...Alone..

I know the song well! And yes! you will have to manually re-do your site to convert it here to WordPress if it was/is not a WordPress site. I can send you the link on how to if you wish.
Frankly, I asked support here for help with it and didn't get much other than telling me I could not transfer a non word press site and that I had to "manually" re-do it...sooo...no instructions or offer of help there beyond that..LOL! which quite surprised me! Mozmary sent me a link to full instructions on more in depth how to than what I found posted here elsewhere and I followed them....I have someone else here who has offered to help me re-do the rest! Let me know if you want the info! I will PM to you....
