Hello,

Welcome to “The Affiliate Solution” BLOG

Pull up a chair and get yourself a drink, (I’ll be having herb tea) while we mull over this post together.

Our world is changing, and fast. we have so much in the way of new technology and new scientific findings daily it could boggle the mind. But, do we really need to KEEP UP with the onslaught and NEWNESS of it all? or can we still be happy with our old way of doing things?

Is being a telecommuter (solopreneur) for everyone? Probably not, here are some things to ponder while you make your choices about how and where you choose to work.

In my view there are great benefits to knowing about the changes, staying informed and making choices that are best for you and your family. I believe keeping up to date on what is going on around you is important, but at the same time it is equally important for you to feel good, comfortable, safe and stable within yourself, and your surroundings.

I love the ability to use technology to better my financial situation and still be able to travel anytime, anywhere I want to go, to be able to work in my PJ’s whenever I like and no one to tell me when to eat or use the restroom. I do not punch a clock, and love what I do… and the only reason I can do this, is because of the advancement in the world of technology…

(IF you’d like more information on what and how I do this click here) I am Happy to share that information with you.

Just a few short years ago, I had NO CHOICE, NO WAY at all to telecommute to work, and consequently I worked for someone else, had to commute to an office daily in traffic, and felt I was making THEIR DREAMS come true, but leaving mine in the dust.

I liked my job, but that is all it was, just a JOB…. a way to make the money I need for all the other parts of life…you know the old definition of job right?(Just Over Broke) I had to rely on others to get paid or to be productive. This was not for me! and I am not one that likes to be on a specific schedule so that was particularly irritating to me personally.

The advancements in our lives have broadened my opportunities and my ability to earn what I am worth and what I need to feel comfortable with life, as well as the WAY in which I earn my living. I rely on ME! no one else, it is up to me how much I work, when I work, and how much I earn. It also up to me to be prudent and cautious in the decisions I make.

With great freedom, comes greater responsibility;

it is SOOOO EASY to fall into the trap of I’m at home i’ll just take a short break, these (short breaks) tend to be long and unproductive times that could easily cost you a lot of money. You need to be particularly careful and very comfortable, with managing your time and resources to get the most out of your productive hours in the day….but on the flip side to that, you get to choose what hours of the day are your most productive, and when you make time for goofing off and balancing out the rest of things that are important in life.

Does this make it more difficult? NO, not really, you have to weigh the pro’s and con’s of YOUR particular situation…. in working for yourself FREEDOM is great, but so has to be your COMMITMENT to doing what needs to be done, especially when you don’t feel like doing it….

When you choose to be free of societal norms then you have to take responsibility for what you get, both the good and the not so good. No blaming anyone but you…but in the long term this route gives you flexibility, when you manage your time correctly, it gives you a greater sense of accomplishment, and greater ability to control your earnings and expenses.

You can take that trip and make it a WORKING HOLIDAY not only are you able to take your work with you, but you get a lot of business write off’s as a result of this practice. In my opinion, there are great rewards for those who dare greatly.

When We choose to move out of what “THEY” expect of us and move into what “WE WANT” from life, your whole perspective changes, and for me this is a good thing.

Now let be very very clear. I am NOT in anyway saying that everyone needs to chose to be self employed; as a matter a fact it is not for most people, most of the time…… so If you are loving your job and what you do, that is what’s important, not doing what others are doing, just because they are doing it. Never let anyone tell you what is best for you.

Always follow your instincts and your own personal desires and dreams. when you do what makes you feel alive and want to get up in the morning, ultimately that Is what you’re meant to be doing. If that means you love to go to Starbucks and make coffee’s all day and interact with people or if that means you go to an office and file paperwork all day, or maybe your a stay at home mom that home schools her kids, WOW, that is very important, and none of these choices should ever be overlooked or belittled they are all necessary for all of us to be a cohesive society.

I do not know of any place that can sustain ALL queens and NO worker bees; Do you?

workers are the life blood of this country, as well as the world around us. We need them… one of my goals is to make all the worker bees feel as though what they do is just as important as what the CEO of any major corporation does or any entrepreneur does. (BECAUSE IT IS!) and sometimes it is MORE important.

We could not exist if it were not for the workers of society, that guy at the corner gas station, that loves to work on motors and brakes; the secretary that keeps her office going and provides all the right stuff at the right times, coordinating her bosses schedules and needs; the taxi drivers; the grocery clerks and workers; and the list certainly goes on and on. Many times those worker bees are the ones that make huge contributions to this world and most certainly get overlooked….

Could you imagine a world where there are NO worker bees? can you see that everything would come to a screeching halt? we all need to remember to treat everyone no matter what they do for a living, as needed, necessary and very important parts of how we live… truly all existence is interconnected in more ways that one can name.

Follow your bliss; do what you love; make a difference; and never feel as though what you do is insignificant. There is no such thing as an insignificant job. I hope this gives you a bit to think about and ponder while you decide where you best fit and what you love most. Go out and find you perfect place to earn and learn.

Maybe you have some idea to add to this discussion,I would love to hear from you.

Interact with us; post below and let us know what you think???? have a great week, blessed in health, wealth, passion and possibilities.

Bye-Bye for now…. look for new postings weekly….I always love to hear what my readers have to say…..

cordially;

Theresa
