I did a search on WA but didn't find anything so I went out to Google and came up with this great site that describes it clearly...

Awesome information on pillar articles and a wealth of other informations for all to read , digest and began to do something . Some of us just enjoy the information but to make an income we all have to task ourselves just to get started.
Very interesting Article Trudi at "one spoon at a time". It was informative and interesting. I have learned much about this as 3rd Triber at copyblogger. Seth Godin is another very good one for how to do written content right. Thank you for the post... We can never know it all, but isn't it wonderful all we've learned here and from each other.
There is so much information out there from what we learn here at WA and others out there who are experts sharing what they know.

Thank you for the link. I had never heard of pillar articles, but it turns out they are what I always called DIY articles. They are articles that tell someone how to do something.
