Easter and Spring

Happy spring every one. It is sure nice to see the snow going away. Spring brings the new beginnings of plants, grass and plans for the new season. The geese are back and soon the pastures will green up and the horses will have fresh grass for grazing.

For those that celebrate Easter its time to get together and spend time with family. Lots of great cooking. Be sure to remember the other family members at this time as well. I mean the cats and dogs that have their noses alerted to all the wonderful smells of the kitchen. Don, t feed cooked poultry bones to the pets as they will splinter and cause serious internal damage to our pets. Cats might eat the cooked wrapping string from meats. If this happens it will be time to go to the vet. Do not pull the string out of the cat regardless of what end it might be sticking out from. This celebration also has the traditional plants brought into the home. The Easter Lily is poisonous to cats and can be lethal. Remember one of the causes of kitchen fires is unattended cooking. Take your time all you chefs and get help.

My picture at the top is of a Cheetah. I watched the movie"DUMA". If you need a movie to watch this weekend with a great story line and a good message this is it. Based on a true story of a boy and a baby Cheetah.
