Just read an article in "=SearchEngineJournal" about a Google "Phantom" update.
Is anyone aware of the google phantom update rolling out targeting informational, "how-to" content?

Have my answer everyone. Again, thanks for your time and help.

Hello gang,
What's the difference
Don't worry I wondered why it was duplicated too. Probably because it is the free course. Maybe some people pay from the beginning.
Hi Tommy,
Thanks for the info buddy. Am an old dog and...well, you know how the rest goes.
Appreciate you taking the time,
Tom

Hello all,
Found a good dot com domain. Should I buy the dot net and dot org as well so as not to open myself up to someone else using the same
well, the good news is that you have a chance to secure the good .com name. That's the priority. If you feel strongly that your traffic is threatened by others having that name, then go for it. I have done that same strategy for years. But in the end, I let the other ones (.net and .org) expire and focus on the .com.
Hello Pastor,
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I feel once I begin to generate some strong traffic I can then dump the net/org domains.
Success to you,
Tom
That's also a good possibility. If that's the plan, then have everything point to the .com and "train" the visitor to recognize it. Then it will be easier to phase out the others without any loss of followers. I actually did that, letting a .org expire and keeping the .com. I weaned the visitors away from it. I wrote about it at the end of this blog I wrote: A New Chapter: From an Old Site to a New Site
I did, but I think that's a personal decision. My .com was taken, but the .net and .org were available, so I bought both so that no one else could take those domain names. I know I'm paying for an extra domain name I probably won't use but I really don't care. It's like an extra $8 a year. It's a small price to pay to get those domains to remain exclusive to you.

Evergreen Pages or Blog Posts?
I've been floundering around trying to determine which is the best way to proceed with my site.
I have material that is always relevan
You want your material to stand the test of time and work for you in the future. Your blog posts are like a stand up comedians routine. The rule of thumb for writing jokes is......always write a joke that you can use five years from now in a different city. If you keep writing material just for the day, you will always have to keep writing to replace it. You want your product to be working for you forever, hopefully.
Hello Don,
Thanks so much for the quick response. What you shared makes sense. Another thought...do you know if I could make a combination site - a web page site with a link in my menu to a blog page?
Thanks,
Tom

With so much info available on content writing "how to," want to know where's the best place to start?
Hello Catherine,
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. My biggest hurdle at this point is (silly as it may sound) typing that first sentence.
Have so many ideas floating around in my head. An outline is probably
the best way to go. Don't want to waste any more time trying to get it right the first time.
Thank you once again for your assistance Catherine.
Cheers,
Tom
Tom My best advise is yes do a bullet point thing and then write it as though you were talking to someone of your target audience talking not writing because it will be more relaxed .THis may help
