Blogging in the Free World!
For you Rock & Rollers out there, muy apologies to Neil Young for sort of ripping off the Rocking in the Free World riff of his....Well; that is the story of R&R; using influences and making them your own.....
So, I just submitted an article for publication in the "OUTSIDE" world...HOW SCARY...NOT!!
To a place called called Ezinearticles.com. It was very simple to set up an account for free; and very simple to write the article and to submit it for publication. Like anything else in this world, they have a pay for service which gets you to the front of the line and lets you submit faster and more. i will go with the slow and free way for now. Just looking for yet another way to get that website nme and my name circulating out there in space. trying to establish credibility by authoring articles on a topic related to my website. I will most likely include this site (and possibly others like it) in a rotation ,
Also, I am having fun figuring out how to Twitter. I am following a variety of folks in my niche (golf) and I picked up 1 follower! Who boy, I'm hot today hon! If anybody can tell me where that is a reference from, you are all over it....LOL!

Thank you very much for sharing Bob, this is a very great post and I like your niche because it is one of my dream to one day become a golf player.
Enjoy your day.
Bob, you could have posted the article on your own site first and got it indexed. Then you could give it to EzineArticles. As long as the you were the author and it is only on your own site, that is okay as far as I know. At least I have done that previously.
Author Website or URL Verification - If content matching the submitted article is found associated with a website or URL that you own or are associated with, but the author names do not match, the article will be rejected and you will be asked to clarify who owns the content. If the matching content found has no author name associated with it, the article will be accepted as original.
To ensure your article is approved as quickly as possible and to prevent any confusion regarding your exclusive rights to the content, please place your author name on your content wherever it is published prior to submitting your article for review.
It is possible to get additional traffic from the article directories, better to put that content directly on your site though.
The article directories were severely penalized in one of the Google updates for having low quality content.
Go, BOB!!! I like Twitter. Never really used it as much as I should, but I DO promote all my articles there. Good luck with ezinearticles.com. Don't' pay, at least not yet. See how far it goes on its own first.

Keep us posted on Ezinearticles. I've heard mixed reviews. As far as Twitter, I'm being pressured but haven't made the leap. Good luck with that. LOL. ~Debbi
I will wait and see. Ten days to post maybe. I don't know if it creates any value. It is an experiment. Will keep you appraised of developments!
