Street Articles, are their days gone?
Because we are requested to write for Street Articles in some of the lessons, I have been getting a lot of questions about this practice. Kyle has told me personally to concentrate on my website and skip the Street Articles, but I was also being told by other members that they were receiving email from Kyle and Carson encouraging this practice. Below is the official notice I received from Carson just today.
Hey Terea,
Article Directories are not something that offer much benefit at all anymore, other than to help Google find your website when it's brand new. That said, the second you share your website at Wealthy Affiliate, Google knows about it within seconds.
Although we own StreetArticlces.com, it's of little value to people to post their content on. We suggest posting all content on your website, not on any directory.
Carson
Hope this clarifies the questions I have been asked lately about Street Articles! Thanks for asking and continue adding content to your website!

I believe that SA will no be a part of the WA priorities from this point on.
I still believe back links are important, but having said that I do not believe SA fits into the plans here at WA as far as K & C go.
Just my opinion only. :)
Trialynn, I like to ask you a question, when you write a new post put on your site, what should you do, just add another page or take the old one out and put the new one in. advice me. Happy
I've never bothered with it at all. I have always worked on the theory that if you get, say, 2% clicks through to your website, and only 2% of those click through to buy the product you are promoting then you would need 2,500 visitors to make one sale.
So 2,500 people visit your Article. 2% of those click through to your website which gives you 50 visitors.
2% of your 50 visitors buy the item you are promoting, that's 1 sale from 2,500 people who initially saw the article, and 2% is supposed to be a decent rate.
Seems to me if you are going to write decent content you might as well put it on your website because that's what you want to rank and that's where your sales are going to come from.
I think your content and your social media postings to it or about it are what replace forums, article directories and guest blogging. Stopped all those a few months ago. It was work for nothing. WA needs to clean up its training so that it walks the walk.
I believe this to be a good move on your part! And yes, there are a few things that need a bit of updating in WA. Compared to many others, I applaud them for the content being as close to the current trends as is reasonably possible.

Hmmm must not have gotten that far in my training yet.
You will, just keep this in the back of your mind!
