Did you by chance create a Gravetar (from either a prompt they have on lower right of the homepage after first logging into your account, or up in the top left menu setting? Creating an account and uploading a photo is the first step, then you have to create a Gravetar linking your e-mail and info to it, so that whenever you use that e-mail (associated with the Gravetar), it recognizes your info and automatically plugs it in.
