Hi everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Toni Reece. I'm very excited to be a part of the WA family. I look forward to meeting a lot of the WA family members and hearing their stories. It calms me to know there is help within the community, because to be honest, I'm very nervous at this moment in time. If anyone needs my help, please let me know. I love helping people.

I have two children. My son Tadd who is 31 years old served in the Navy as a Nuclear Engineer for 11 years and was stationed in Hawaii. He got out of the Navy October 2015. He now works for a Nuclear Power Plant about an hour from me. I'm thrilled to have him back home and close to me and so proud he landed his dream job. I guess he'll always be a nuke man. I have a daughter Erica who is 28 years old and is married and has a son and he's 7 years old. I'm a grandma ***sigh*** to only one grandchild. I'm waiting for more, but I don't see that happening any time soon. :-)

I, like I said in my first paragraph, am very nervous about taking this step. You see, I'm used to making money for someone else. I put in all the work and the companies I've helped move forward get the profits of all my hard work. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED every minute of it. About 4 months ago I woke up one morning and as I was drinking my coffee and getting ready to go to work, I realized that I was burnt out working 24 hours 7 days a week for someone else to reach their goals. The company I left after working for them for 12 years was an Automotive Repair Shop/Towing Service. And yes, I opened the shop Monday - Saturday being at work at 6:30am. The shop opened at 7am and closed at 6pm. Then of course the towing was non stop 24/7, and yes, I was the only dispatcher. I really can't complain because after being there for 2 years and working 16 hours a day trying to get this company where they wanted to be, it was my suggestion we add a towing service. The owner and I talked about it and he went in debt and bought not just one tow truck, but THREE. This is one reason I liked working for this company and helping them. The owner thought BIG just as I do. I do not fear risk, and failure is not an option with me. Fail, failing, failure, and can't are not in my vocabulary. So long story short (but as I look above not too short, right?) Anyhow in 2004 this company was in the red. When I left 4 months ago looking at the productivity and sales reports, this company is going to surpass 1,000,000. 00 this year. Sure, it may have taken us 12 years, and having an automotive shop/towing service is very competitive and they are everywhere, anyhow, every year at the end of the year those numbers went up. This shop is a 9 bay shop with 8 technicians in a very small town. I took a day a week and did cold calls and visited other companies like Time Warner to get commercial accounts as well as our normal customers. Yes, we became Time Warner's choice of shops within a 50 mile radius of our repair shop. One of the perks I added when I met with the fleet manager was, we would pick up and deliver. I also signed a lot more commercial accounts. The company is thriving and I'm very proud to say I had a very big part in making that company what it is today.

So, now I feel it's my time for ME. I'm challenging myself to do for me what I've done for 3 other companies. For me to succeed in a business of my own. Work my butt off for me and smile when I finally receive that first paycheck from my online business.

As for what I do to relax? Well, I'm not sure. Relax hasn't been in my life for the past 12 years. I do love to read. I love jazz. I enjoy sitting on my front porch, especially if it's raining. I live on 4 1/2 acres of land (3 1/2 of it is all yard). No neighbors around. The past 4 months not working, I've caught myself grinning and looking outside and seeing my beautiful yard, my beautiful driveway lined with 21 Cleveland pair trees that are probably 20 feet high, looking at my flower garden and saying to myself "Yes! I finally got to work on my flower garden the past 4 months" It's been a long time since I just thought about me and my happiness. As I finish this, (yes, I know..........OMG finally she's going to stop rambling) I'm grinning because I'm starting a new chapter in my life and it's with the WA family. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family.
~~Toni~~ I believe I said more than just a "few words" LOL :-)

Those are wonderful goals Toni and I can tell you firsthand that these are more than achievable. When I started out I had very similar goals and with some hard work and dedication, I exceeded any goals that I could have ever initially set.

You will get there if you invest some hard work and dedication to this, I don't have any doubt. :)

Hi Toni,

Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate and congratulations on making a great choice for your future. Fantastic profile, you have a good positive outlook and a great work ethic, you will do well here have no fear.

I would suggest (if you haven't already) to take a good look around, then start the Certification training 1. Also engage with this fantastically encouraging and helpful community. If you ever get stuck or have a question, ask it and it will be answered quite quickly by the community.

Sometimes it may feel tough here because you will be learning new things but Kyle's training is superb, so you'll soon start understanding how things fall into place.

I wish you well on your WA journey, I look forward to seeing your progress and have followed you.

Best regards

Hi Kyle. I'm stuck on building my two websites. To sign up with the affiliate programs you have to have a website name. I think I'm going to do two websites. One for Auto Parts and one for Tires and Rims. What does AvoidingTheBreakdownAutoParts sound like? and what does WhereTheRubberMeetsTheRoadTiresandRims sound like? I've not been on line in a couple of days. Have to go have two tests tomorrow and possibly surgery so that's been on my mind. Any suggestions on catchy names for the two websites would be great. I know .................I can feel it in my bones this will work. I have nothing to lose if I try. Hope you've had a great weekend. :-) Thank you for all your help. Oh, Oh, do you know how I would go about offering a free Ebook is someone orders from my website? Everyone loves free stuff, right? Or am I going completely down the wrong path?

Focus on just ONE website and create success with that before diversifying and creating multiple niche websites.

It only takes ONE website in one niche to be very successful online. I usually find that folks that try to do too much at once (focus on several niche websites) end up in a state of mediocrity because it can be overwhelming and you don't really ever become the expert in just one niche.

It is the experts (specialists) that create long term, successful businesses in any niche.

I would recommend that you narrow it down a bit, what aspect of "auto parts" or "rims and tires" do you want to help people out with?

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

Thank you for the response. The more I thought about the few comments you've made to focus on one thing, made me take a look at the Affiliate Boot Camp. I am going to go down this path first. My website name is Marketing with Toni. Now, I have to go on through the lessons and hopefully know what to say. Right now I feel very comfortable doing the Boot Camp is that's okay. Always anxious to hear from you for ideas. YAYS OR NAYS........whichever, I know you are supporting me. Thank you
Ciao,
Toni

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Hi Kyle. I may have my niche, but would like your input on my "idea". I come from building up an automotive repair shop/towing service for 12 years. Everyone is always looking for auto parts, wheel rims and tires. How well do you think if my niche were auto parts and tires and wheel rims? Advance Auto, Napa and other parts stores, tire stores have an affiliate program. Is this how I start my website? I guess I'm still a bit confused about that. Is my question making any sense to you? LOL Thank you, Toni
PS? I need to do some more research on it, but wanted to get your opinion. I'm also sent a message to Carson. :-) Thank you again.

Those are all massive categories. Rims alone is a massive category. I would narrow it down a bit here.
