If you need an extra boost for your video to land on page 1 of YouTube then create a video campaign. It is very simple to do. Be sure to put your keyword in the description of your ad. Target your market by creating a need for them. For example if you are targeting men who are looking for a date then your ad title can be "Looking for a fun date?"

Make sure you are targeting men, women or both and whatever countries you want to target. My campaigns usually costs .02 to .04 cent per view and I create a limit of a dollar a day spending limit for a period of one week. I create a maximum .10 cent Cost Per View limit. This only costs me 7 dollars total to get on the first page of YouTube with my video. It delivers traffic to my website easily.

The keywords are very low in competition and this is a great way to advertise cheaply. Most folks do not advertise on YouTube but there are millions of viewers. Get out there and create videos so you can target your perfect market and direct them to your website. It's a win win for you and your customers.

Thanks for this tutorial, tas88. At some point in the future I can go back to this.

For your readers who are more into tablets, there's a Capture app for youtube which uploads videos straightaway. The longest video i experimented with was 25 minutes in length.

Best wishes!

Good advice. Thank you for the information. Sometimes we just post stuff without having any reason and the video gets lost.

Is there a way to use Jing to create videos for YouTube? Last time I checked they use .swf files, which cannot be placed on YT, only on screencast.com. I don't know if they changed this.

your link to the first video about RSS feed needs a password, or it did when I clicked on it. Also, I would love to see a training from you about all the steps and strategies for doing a pay per view campaign. I know nothing about spending money to advertize and would never do it for fear of getting charged to much because of my ignorance. I don't even know where you are referring to, to advertize. On You Tube? or else where?

Looks like I will have to create a video on how to do the RSS feed because this link is protected now. I will also create a training on YouTube advertising.
