I created this handy little list for myself actually to make sure to have everything neat and tidy while building a website. I really didn't want or need to go through all the training again. I simply needed a refresher and a few notes.

So, before you say you are done setting up your website, do a quick run through of this list, just to make sure!

Two things to make sure you have done before you get started building your website:

A. BEFORE you hit the build button, have a basic structure for your website. If you have not, take a minute( Who am I kidding!) Take time, as much as you need, right now, to put something on paper regarding to the construction of your website posts/pages, BEFORE you hit the build button as this will hasten the rest of your setup.

B. BEFORE you hit the build button, if you are wondering whether or not to host at WA, now is the time to look at and understand WA Hosting. Be assured. You are getting quality, state-of-the-art hosting service that is second to none.

Read this article by Kyle to find out more about what WA Hosting offers and how they compare to other hosting services https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog/some-muc...

Okay, with all that out of the way, you are now ready to build your website and check everything off of this micro-overview, as I call it. I hope it will prove handy for you. Plus, I have one more handy little tip for you if you want to be a step ahead of the rest at the end. ;)

Hi Paula, thanks for a great basic and simple but complete checklist for creating a new website. Finally I got where to add subdomain as I kept looking for it but overlooked it at the end of the Site Domain. Thank you & have a great day :)
