As you can see in the image on the dashwoard I advise you not to check all the boxes as it is already predetermined by wordpress. I prefer to start working without any ads or information, you do what you like.

In this basic wordpress course I will teach you to make the minimum configuration necessary to start working on our website safely.

Some of these basic WordPress settings that I will explain below are extremely important. Failure to do so may compromise our workflow, but also (and worse) may jeopardize the success of our website.

Do not take any step lightly. We are going to do things right. Gradually and together to avoid future dislikes.

Wordpress updates its versions on a regular basis, always keeping your site updated, following the instructions provided on the screen. It is advised before updating to make a backup. For this we have different plugins that we can use, I will talk about this in future tutorials.
